Wow and I Thought Yesterday was a Grind!
Georgetown to Conway, SC. 39.8 miles. Rainy day in SC and because of a missed turn, spent the entire course on US 701. Just like yesterday, speeding trucks, no shoulder and then add rain, lots of rain. But we all made it and the good news is, we took 12 miles off our mileage by riding the bad road AND a bike riding first, we were the first to do laundry at the motel ( might not seem like a big deal but it's huge when you are in the biking bubble!). More rain forecast for tomorrow but I think we can handle it. Yep we are still in the Bible Belt

First to do laundry!!! You mean you don't have to stay awake and dressed till 10:00 to get pajamas out of dryer??? I'm impressed! Love the pic of drying out your stuff - it must have rained a lot. I'd the weather had been decent it would have been fun to park all 33 bicycles in the "bikes only" parking spot. Ride on dear friend...
