Plymouth to Elizabeth City, NC. 57.9 miles

Beautiful riding day today ( well except for those stubborn head winds) Cool and sunny. Tree farms and logging trucks were replaced by hundreds of acres of farmland. Everyone seemed to be out cultivating their fields today and the farm machinery on our country roads are smaller and slower than logging trucks which makes me happy!
We have one floating single room and today I won the jackpot and was assigned to it. So all my stuff is strewn all over the room and I don't even have to be on my best/ polite behavior!
So in case you are wondering here is how we get from point A to point B everyday ( see photo below) Each evening after dinner we have a map meeting with cue sheets provided by WomanTours . In the morning when we set out we coordinate our cue sheets with our bike computer/odometer and if we are paying attention, it all seems to work.

    Really?
Fields of purple, still unidentified crop. Tobacco?
Swamp land along the road . We have been near the
Okefenokee  Swamp, the Hellhole Swamp and will soon be
coming upon .....The Great Dismal Swamp
Rode the 3.5 mile bridge over the Albemarle Sound today
   Well, there you have it!
