Suffolk,VA to Williamsburg, VA. 56.4 miles

Another fine day! Narrow country roads with little traffic, wheat fields,  hardwood and pine forests , a few hills and to top it off a 15 minute ferry ride across the James River. Historic Jamestown ( first English colony in the new world)was on the other side of the river so we stopped to tour the living history museum. We ended the day by riding the bumpy Colonial Parkway to arrive in Colonial Williamsburg.
Bicyclists are last on and last off
Re-creation of a Powhatan Indian village
Two of the 3 tiny ships that sailed from
    England to Jamestown
Kathy Canada was not on the
   Maiden voyage
   Houses in James Fort
On the Colonial Parkway after darting across the road
